FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL 2016-2017

August 30th: First day of 4k and 2k

Meet the Teachers!!
Blakely is in Ms. Kim and Ms. Brandi's 4 day 4K.
Katy Ellis is in Ms. Elizabeth and Ms. Hope's 2 day 2K.

Kona Ice truck came to Meet the Teachers... and you know we had to have some!!

Frist day of school for the Big Kids!!

Happiest of 4th Birthday's to my Banksie!!

These two are just the BESTEST of Friends!! This is their last year in class together... I have loved the last 3 years of them being in class together, and it is going to be so odd next year for them to go to different classes.

First day of school "Part II"...Blakely and Banks had already gone for their first day of school on Tuesday, but we waited until ALLLLLL the kiddos went to school on Wednesday to wear their GG Creations all together!

Who loves School?? THIS GIRL!!

Katy Ellis loves school! In fact, she cries every Monday and Tuesday because she doesn't get to go!

Taking pics of 4 toddlers is complicated... and this is as good as it gets some times!

Just love this Big Girl! Wish she would stop growing up on me!!

This pic just cracks me up!

Great start to hopefully another great year at Lexington Baptist Preschool!!!

Mountain Trip 2016: Part VI

July 2016: Thursday & Friday

On Thursday, we headed to the Highlands. This is always one of my favorite days!! The downtown Highlands are just so quaint and so picturesque!! We started the day with going to see all 3 waterfalls in the Highlands area: Glenn Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Dry falls!!

Hiking the Glenn Falls trail!

Glenn Falls

Dry Falls with my girls.

Two cave trolls! Watch out!

Brick oven pizza in the Highlands!

S'mores Ice cream at Kilwin's!! So so so good!! They literally have the BEST ice cream in the world!

Duh! Mama got some Iced Coffee!

I'm not sure Blakely liked the ice cream (heheheheee).

One of our favorite daily rituals was a BIG walk on the golf course! Always so fun!

Friday was our last day in Sky Valley... and we decided to start it out right with breakfast at the Dillard house! Dinner at Dillard house is AMAZING... breakfast is like ANOTHER LEVEL!! So ridiculously good!!!

After Breakfast, we headed down to the stables for a ring ride!

Blakely loves horses so much! Can't wait til she is old enough to go for a trail ride!!

Unfortunately you have to be 3 yo to go for a ring ride, so Katy Ellis did not get to ride. She was a little bummed, but she still loved feeding the goats and chickens!!

After Dillard House, we headed over to the Bull Sluice Trail and got to see some amazing river rafting! The trail ended up being super short... like 1/4mile in and then a 1/4 mile out. Boo! But we did make an AMAZING discovery!!!

We found the Chattooga River Swimming hole!!! This was an amazing place to swim, and I was so thankful that we always keep our suits and water shoes in the car just in case! This is my BEST advice to anyone traveling to the mountains... always keep your suit and water shoes in the car with you! You NEVER know when you are gonna find an amazing Mountain stream and wanna take a dip!

Bless this child! She just LOVES a stick!

Loaded up and heading home!! And just in time too.... Lawson was about to make his BIG DEBUT!!!!
