This fall, we decided to plan our first mountain trip with our family friends, the Wiggins! We had all gone to the Beach house that summer, but due to illness James and the 2 big kids did not get to stay. Sad times. So I was so excited to see how our 2 families would do together. I'm happy to report that we had a BLAST!! Loved vacationing together, there will definitely be MANY more family trips to come!! YAY!

We did so many cool things that weekend, but the kids FAVORTIE thing by far was the hot tub!! They loved it and begged to get in all the time!!

After booking the trip, Lindsey and I quickly realized that of the 5 kiddos, Landon was the only boy. So we invited our best bud Banks to come on the trip with us! He was a great addition to the trip! Landon and him had a blast being 'best buddies,' and kept telling us that they needed 'Buddy time!'
Somehow Banks is always in our family shot.... he is the son we never had I guess! LOL

Our rental was on Lake Lure, and had a boat house with kayaks and canoes. They even had floats for summer time! Would be a great summer rental as well!
That weekend, the kids became obsessed with "secret messages." They found post-its and pencils and would sneak us messages that said things like "Banks is hungry." It was so cute!
