Little Slugger Turns 1!!

July 18th: Brantley's First Birthday Party

Tonight, we traveled down to Charleston for my nephew Brantley's first birthday. Everything was perfect and the girls had an absolute blast!! Brian and Sarah had been living in Hawaii for the last two years, and as a result we had all been missing out on some major life events. We were so excited when they moved back to start to make some special family memories. I especially could not wait to get these Monk cousins together for some bonding and memory making! Brantley and the girls had a great time together, and Blakely was positively smitten with Baby Brantley. I hope these 3 will be life long friends, as well as family.

Locked and loaded- Charleston Bound!! PTL my girls are great car riders.

The party was set up in Brian and Sarah's adorable back yard. The theme of the party was Baseball, and Sarah had thought of every detail.

There was slip and slide set up for the kids, and my girls are part mermaid... so you KNOW they had to get wet.

First Monk cousin play date!!

Blakely loves Brantley!!

"Bull Pen"

Took this picture at the end of the party... they can barely contain their excitement. (Bahahahaaha)

Kissing cousins

Pitching practice with water balloon.

Got to see some of our favorite people, the Sawyers!

One of Sarah's relatives made this amazing baseball cake!! So beautiful!!

The SMASH cake!!

Brantley was a beast with his cake... he picked up the WHOLE thing!!! Get it!

The proud parents! Sarah's mother had made him a Mango flavored cake...I think he likes it! ;-)

GrandAnnie and GrandPop celebrating with their first grandson!

SMASH!

Every southern boy needs his own pickup truck! ;-)

Due to some bad weather, we did not get home until almost 11pm. Surprisingly, Blakely fell asleep in the car and KE made it all the way home awake. Both had such a great night and slept hard that night.
We had such a great family night together, and we felt honored to get to be a part of Brantley's big celebration. It was a perfect party, and we are excited for future Monk family get-togethers in the future!! Happiest of Birthday's to our B-man!! Praying that he will grow to love and serve Jesus with his whole heart!! Uncle ReeRee and Aunt DeeDee love you very, very much!! xoxox
