Monk's Love Mickey: Day 2

September 14th: Magic Kingdom!!

It was predicted to rain EVERYDAY of our trip, but for some reason when we woke up Monday the sun was shining, and it was absolutely GORGEOUS!! What a perfect day to go to Magic Kingdom!!

I am 33 years old, and I still get giddy excited when I see the signs for the first time!! "Didney Word! Didney Word!"

New Magic Bands for our BIG adventure!!!

We stayed on property in January, so we took the buses every where. I was afraid parking was going to be difficult, but it actually ended up being awesome!! In fact, if we stay on property again, I will definitely still be using the parking lots! So easy!!

This picture does not do justice how excited Blakely and I were seeing the castle for the first time!! Disney World is always magical... no matter how many times you see it!

This trip with KE was TOTALLY different. When we came in January, she was 11 months old and did not really notice much of what was going on. This time she was so into everything! She loved the characters- giving them big hugs and kisses. She loved the rides- pointing and giving an enthusiastic commentary the whole time! So fun to see how their response changes as they grow!!

It's a Small World is the oldest, original attractions still at the park... but still one of both my girls favorites! Blakely goes bananas on this ride!! She points to everything and wants to make sure we are all seeing everything!! She says "It is so, so, so beautiful!" like 1000x per ride!! She especially loves that dolls on the flying carpets!!

Even at Disney the carousel is still a big hit!

This is one of Blakely's favorite rides! We literally rode it 5x during our 2 days in Magic Kingdom! I think she feels like Jasmine on this ride! She also loves lining our carpet up just right, to ensure that I get spit on by the camels!

First day of Disney was just a little too much for this little one! Blakely on the other hand was completely jazzed and could not stop talking about everything we had just seen!!
