Monk's Love Mickey: Day 5

September 17th: Animal Kingdom and an Evening Dip

So we had managed to escape the rain EVERY DAY until Thursday at Animal Kingdom...and then it only lightly rained ALL DAY. But of all the parks for it to rain in, Animal Kingdom is fun in the rain! With little bits, we mainly do indoor shows anyways so it wasn't that big of deal. Blakely was actually super excited, because she was BEGGING for an opportunity to wear her Minnie Mouse Poncho. She got her wish!

Blakely thought the "living tree" was so cool! I was creeped out by her, but this brave girl begged for a picture with her.

They look thrilled to be in Animal Kingdom, right?

First stop... DINO LAND!!! Really wish we could have brought our Bankster here!!

It was early still, so there were hardly any people back at Triceratops Spin... so they let us ride it 3x in a row!

Richard and KE's face after going around and around and around 3x!!

First show: Festival of the Lion King!! KE LOVED this show!!! She stood up and danced almost the entire show. She loves to dance!

Blakely's favorite part of the show was the Dancing Birds! She thoughts they were "So, so, so beautiful!"

Blakely's bird!

A little snuggle before Finding Nemo: The Musical.

"...in the big blue world."

Cinnamon Toasted Pecans... found these between Asia and Africa. SO GOOD!

Katy Ellis was really into the Safari. She wanted to make sure we all saw every single animal!!

FINALLY!! IT'S PONCHO TIME!!!

Look at her happy little face! So glad the weather could comply and let her wear her poncho! Heehee. Silly girl.

Rain was gone but that night so we headed to the pool for a family dip!

My people!!

This girl was SO, SO, SO happy all week long! She loves vacations and Disney World as much as her mama!!

A great end to a great day!
