Katy Ellis is 8 Months Old!!

October 3rd: 8 Months Post

Katy Ellis celebrated her 8 month birthday while we were on vacation, so her pictures were slightly delayed.... BUT definitely done before she turned 9 months old. HA!

Katy Ellis has learned to sit up unsupported!! No more tripod-ing for this girl!!

Sitting up has changed her look. She has moved from adorable baby lump to a mobile infant!! ...and she couldn't be prouder!

THIS is also happening!! She is up on her knees rocking at all time!!

 

Guarantee this girl will be crawling come nine months! Blakely crawled at 9 months, and so far KE is a little bit quicker with her milestones. She has to keep up with her big sister!!

This girl is so proud when she acquires a new skill!! She smiles HUGE, squeals and snorts, and pretty much preens!

Likes: Bananas, Squash/Corn/Zucchini mix, puffs, sitting up, trying to crawl, tickles!

Dislikes: Hmmm....? Happy baby, not sure she has many.

Blakely and Richard are mildly ticklish, but I have always been VERY, VERY ticklish. Katy Ellis takes after her Mommy!! All you have to do is gently touch her neck, chest, armpit area, and she goes crazy giggling!! It is so fun!

Currently we call her Rocking Horse, because when she tries to crawl she gets up on her knees and just rocks and rocks!!

Current Nicknames: Grabby McGhee, Swipper, Squanks, KE, Kay-Kay.

Milestones: Unassisted sitting, booty in the air (trying to crawl), vocalizing (A LOT!), 2 lower teeth.

I love this crazy girl!! She is so much fun. She may be an easy baby, but she is so curious and full of life!! We are all gonna be in trouble when she starts crawling!!
