Old Key West!!

Sept-October: Disney Vacation Part II

Blakely and Banks were so excited when we got to the resort (possibly because we let them out of the car after 10 hours! HA!), they ran room to room finding all the Mickey Mouse heads and Cinderella castles! One of their favorite things was walking to the front desk for new balloon animals.

Old Key West had an amazing pool with a water slide in a sand castle. Blakely called it "Blakely's Castle."

We also got to enjoy the pool at Saratoga Springs where Rich and I stayed with the girls in July.

Banks loved the splash pad at the High Springs pool!!

Both kiddos loved the pool. Someday they are going to be able to swim on their own, and I am going to miss seeing them in their matching yellow tubes.

These two LOVED having their PopPop for a whole week!! They are almost always with mommy, auntie and Gigi... but NEVER PopPop for a whole week. They thought they had died and gone to heaven!

Sometimes the big kids share, and KE gets a PopPop snuggle.

They love playing Simon Says, and don't worry no one ever says "Simon did not say..." We are all winners here. ;)

Best friends. Despite the occasional fight and tussle over toys, these two truly love each other!!

Play set at the Congress

Our little two toothed pole dancer.... a cute starting place in life, but definitely not something to aspire to! HA!

Banks and Blakely loved the little water slide at High Springs pool. They probably went down this slide 1000x!!

By the end of the week, my arms were so tired from lifting her out of the pool, I could barely lift her out of the pool!

It was actually the wettest September on record for Orlando. It literally rained every.... single.... day. Thankfully it was not cold and there was no lightning, so we just decided to go with it. The kids could have cared less that it was raining, except for during one very torrential downpour Blakely kept saying "Rain too hard."

Every night the resort had a marshmallow roast. The kiddos loved marshmallows! Duh.

Nightly snuggles on the couch with PopPop.

On our last day, we took a big adventure to Downtown Disney.

We let them pick out one treat at Goofy's Sweets Shop.

Decisions, decisions, decisions...

The winner: Minnie Mouse Rice Krispy's treat.

I know ALL kids love a carousel, but there is nothing like enjoying it with your own kid. I love seeing the excitement in Blakely's eyes.

We had lunch at the T-Rex Café which is really cool. It is filled with prehistoric creatures that come to life and "storms" that roll through.

Each kid gets a paint brush to dig up Dino bones while they wait for their food.

What an adorable little paleontologist.

The kids even got to play in a splash pad.

Knight Banks slays the splash pad.

Face full of water!!

We had a magical vacation full of amazing memories!! Thank you, thank you, thank you GG and PopPop for sharing your trip with us. We had an absolute blast!!
