Girls Take Disney Part III

June 15th: Chef Mickey's

Since it was over 100 degrees everyday, we decided to forgo going into the parks, but we still wanted to see some characters! We were hoping to go to a character dinner, but since we booked our trip like 1 week in advance all the character meals were already booked up... But I stalked the MyDisneyExperience App hoping for a cancellation, and low and behold, we got into CHEF MICKEY'S!! We have always wanted to go to this breakfast, and it did not disappoint!

Had to wear our Minnie Mouse GG creations to meet the Mouse!

Blakely was very excited about getting to see all her Disney friends!

Katy Ellis is just excited that Blakely is excited (she has no idea what is going on! HA!).

We decided to make an adventure of it and go over to the Contemporary using the Buses and Monorails. To Blakely, this is all part of the Disney experience! ;-)

Monorail riding!

I somehow missed that there was a line and photographer taking pics with this statue... oops! I just let the girls jump and play on it.... I was THAT mom! Eeeee. Sorry to all the people waiting patiently in line... I really had no idea!

We were the last seating for breakfast, so we had breakfast and then we decided to have lunch too! HA!
PS These waffles aren't just cute... they are  DELICIOUS! Yum!

The first character to find our table was Minnie Mouse!! Katy Ellis liked all the characters from a good 10 feet, but any closer and she would lose it! Poor KK.

Blakely, on the other hand, was so very excited about all her Clubhouse friend! She ran up to Minnie Mouse and gave her a HUGE hug, turned around and ASK ME to take a picture of her (my jaw hit the floor!). She even had to give ALL the characters a kiss on the nose!

This was a BIG change from our trip to Disney in January. During our Winter trip Blakely would cry whenever a character or Princess came along, and then gradually she would warm up to them. It was like meeting a celebrity for her. She was a tad overwhelmed. This time around there was no fear, just JOY! It was so much fun.

A buffet full of breakfast carbs, and this chick was in heaven! Ha! She loves bread, and so I usually try to avoid it at meals, because it is ALL she would eat if she had a choice. But seeing as this was a special meal, I let her pick what she wanted: croissants, waffles, pancakes, donuts and biscuits. Carb lovers dream come true! HA!

I love the joy on her face in this picture! This is how all kids feel at Disney World!

KK said "Ack-Ack-Ack!" Which is her version of a quack!

Selfie with my girl!! Best time!

The Mouse, himself!

Our sweet waiter made sure he was close at hand when Mickey showed up so we could get a group shot! Thank you!!

While Mickey was at our table, they announced a Birthday! So we all waved our napkins and sang. Blakely loved it! She loves joining in with a crowd! I will be sad some day when she thinks she is "too cool" for this kind of thing.

Blakely's new favorite, PLUTO!!!
When Blakely saw Pluto coming she said "Mommy! Mommy! Wash my hands! Help! Get me down please! PLUTO!!! PLUTO!!!" She was so excited and ran as fast as she could to see him!

Pluto got a BIG hug!!

I love this picture of Blakely and her "new favorite!" Sorry Minnie... you've been de-throned!

Goofy!

Blakely had a routine with each character: run, hug, pose, picture, and finish with kissing the nose.

Loved making my girls dreams come true! What a magical time we had at Chef Mickey's!!!
