12 Days of Christmas

December 13th: On the First Day of Christmas...

One of my families fun Christmas traditions is the 12 Days of Christmas. We do not get any Maids of Milking or Lords of Leaping, but if you were really good you might get a Gold Ring. Just kidding. Now, that we have grown up, this tradition has moved on to the next generation. To say that Blakely was excited about 12 days is putting is mildly.

This girl was so, so excited to see GG and PopPop singing on her doorstep!! She kept saying "Oh my gosh!  Oh my gosh!" When the song ended, she ran out an hugged her favorite people!

Last year, PopPop came in a Santa suit.... a tears ensued. PopPop was so sad that he had made his Little's cry... so this year JUST a hat! Ha!

Can you feel the excitement?? She is squealing with joy as she digs through the bag.

GG and PopPop got to watch her open her first day of Christmas present.

She kept saying "I lub it! I lub it!" and hugging her new manicure set to her chest!

Then Blakely was off to help KK open her present.

KE got a beautiful monogrammed sheet for her bed... Blakely was less impressed (IE not a toy).

These two littles love their GG and PopPop!

Hurray!! I am so, so excited about the kick off to the Christmas season!!
