Christmas Eve-stravaganza!!!

December 24th: Tober Family Christmas

 

Every year, the Tober's gather for Christmas at GG and PopPop's house on Christmas Eve. It is one of my favorite days of the year!! You get to stay in your jammies all day, eat nothing but APPETIZERS (my favorite food) all day, hang out with my favorite people (SANS cell phones) all day and celebrate Baby Jesus birthday!!! What more could you ask for?? Cinnamon rolls, you say? WHY!! We have those too!!! Total perfection!!

By the time we got to my parents house this year, it was time for Katy Ellis to take her nap. So GG and PopPop let her have a little Christmas preview!! She immediately crawled in and found this Mickey Mouse. She LOVED it so much. Even now after she has received lots of other presents, Mickey Mouse remains her favorite gift of Christmas!!

The coolest thing they gave the kids for Christmas was these AMAZING dress up closets!! GG designed/decorated them and PopPop did the construction work. I am super, super impressed with them, and Blakely was blown away by all her new dress up clothes!!

Katy Ellis may be little, but she just crawled right in and started playing!

When the time came, we told them they could go in and see the toys. We did NOT tell them to hold hands, this was spontaneous and totally adorable!! They LOVE each other!!

Blakely immediately went for her new Dress Up! Closet!!! She started trying everything on and carefully looking at each new piece. Her FAVORITE thing in the box was an Elsa dress that lights up and sings "Let it go!" Duh.

This is technically Katy Ellis toy, but she is napping so ssssshhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Don't tell her.

She loved her dresses so much!! She started shouting "I lub it! I lub it!! Best Christmas EVER! Best Christmas EVER!!" Then she was so happy, she went around the room hugging PopPop and GG over and over again!! I think she liked it. HA!



GG and Blakely playing with the new music players. This year, Banks and Blakely are really into music. They love to sing and dance.

Banks dress up box was stocked with boy dress up clothes. Hard to come by... but oh so cute!

Katy Ellis was so sweet and so good on Christmas. Her favorite things were her Mickey Mouse and this box!! She would have stayed in it all day long!

I did give Banks a real gift... but the gift he liked best was PUFFS!

This was kind of a gag gift, because he eats ALL of Katy Ellis' puffs. But he LOVED them, and attempted to eat the whole container in one sitting.

All 4 crazies on Christmas!! Its not pretty (and Walker is REALLY mad), but these are my favorite people and I love any picture with all 4 of them together!!

Katy Ellis LOVED this!!! Both big kids giving her BIG hugs!

These kiddos had the best day ever at GG and PopPop's!! Such a fun and special Christmas. The older they get, the more they "get" Christmas. I know that next year will be even MORE AMAZING!!!
Thank you GG and PopPop for an amazing day packed with wonderful memories!! Can't wait for all the fun they are going to have with their dress up closets and puppet stage! Ya'll are way too creative.
