O CANADA! Part 2

August 2018: First Trip to Canada

Each day of our trip to Canada was special and unique! Where my inlaws live is very close to the Bay of Fundi, and so there are amazing Tidal hikes and some of the worlds BEST lobsters! If you've never been to Nova Scotia, you are missing out! It is like Maine... but WAY less populated! It is just beautiful!

Grandpop took us to the Lobster Pound, and the girls got to see the BIGGEST lobster ever! Blakely pet it like it was a puppy! LOL

Near my inlaws home, there is a hike that takes you along the coast of the bay of fundi. At low tide, there is a 250 ft drop and waterfalls emerge!

Wild blueberry picking! The girls loved this experience, but even better they loved eating frozen blueberries allllllll week long!

View of Annapolis Royal from the gazebo on my inlaws property.

Before the trip Grandmom made sure these girls had some good wellies! They loved playing in the riverbed during low tide!

Grandmom made BLUEBERRY and CHERRY pie!! Girls loved it!

So much cool and interesting things to see in Canada, but what these girls loved most was being with their grandmom and grandpop!! They loved seeing their house, petting grandmom's kitty Boots, and just playing hangman or match game with them! There is something magical about being at your grandparents home when you are a kid!

My favorite part of their house was by far the gazebo! Watching for sea lions and water foul, drinking a glass of wine and enjoying a good book!

Making art in the sea grass!
