Fireworks on the lake are always the Saturday before the 4th of July. We had never let the girls stay up that late for the fireworks, but this year we decided to go for it! We had an awesome night, and Blakely thought it was "the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!" Katy Ellis tried to hang in there but fell asleep before the fireworks show. She told me "Mommy, my head is just so heavy. Can I put it in your lap?" Not gonna lie, it was pretty magical snuggling my girl during the show and ride home.
