This year for Halloween we had 2 little black cats and 3 ninjas! The kids have gotten to the age where they have some MAJOR opinions about their costumes, so we just let them pick! Seeing the girls dressed as black cats this year was emotionally charged.... the day before Boo at the Zoo, our kitty Max passed. Needless to say Halloween is a hard time to lose a little black kitty.
For Halloween day, Blakely got to present her first book report on "Little House on the Prairie." They even got to dress as the main character! Blakely loved being Laura Ingles so much, that she decided to where it that night too for Trick-or-treating!

Bad parenting move! We let them do Foam Party, but forgot towels or change of clothes... but we didn't want to say no to fun, so we improvised. Girls loved going home in our sweatshirts!

EMERGENTLY had to purchase these glowing necklaces at the zoo. Girls were wearing all black and the zoo was packed.... started to lose them in the dark! HA!
