Greenbrier Camping: Part 1

Labor Day Weekend: Camping in Greenbrier

One of the things I love best about going to private school is that 1st day of school is always the Tuesday after Labor day. This usually means we get like an extra 2-3 weeks of summer! This year we took advantage of this "summer bonus" and headed for the mountains for a camping trip with my parents!

One of my favorite things about this area of Tennessee is MAD DOG DONUTS!! They are literally the BEST yeast based donut in the WORLD! The best is the Creamsickle!

On the way to the mountains, we had lunch at the Moose! Finally got to try the Cathead biscuits! Every bit as good as we were told!!

This little monkey is such a dare devil! She climbed to the top of the rock and jumped off like 100x!

This butterfly was OBSESSED with PopPop's shoes! We kept trying to hike... but this little guy wouldn't leave dad alone!

Butterfly garden! We went down a forest ranger trail.... and at the end we found this grove FULL of butterflies! Like 100's of them!! The girls were in love!

This girls FAVORITE thing about weekends and vacations is her daddy! She loved to do ANYTHING he does! Daddy's girl for sure!

The campground ends in big watering hole for swimming and the river that feeds into it you could tube down! The girls loved it and could not do it enough!
